Graf von Faber-Castell Night Blue Tamitio Fountain Pen

This beautiful pen in the Tamitio collection is both eye-catching and stylish. The finely fluted barrel made of metal is lacquered in several elaborate working steps, with an innovative lacquer ensuring a long-lasting matte surface. Made of a single piece of material, there are no screw joints interrupting the pure shape of the instrument. The pen features a traditional fountain pen nib, made from 18K gold with an iridium tip which is a hard and dense metal. The barrel is Night Blue which is a navy colour and features a ribbed texture for a contemporary look; it is also broader than most Faber-Castell pens. There is a platinum-plated cap which is engraved with 'Handmade in Germany' featured near the bottom and a spring-loaded solid metal clip attached to the side ideal for slipping into your shirt pocket or Faber pen case. The top of the pen has been engraved with the Graf von Faber-Castell brand name around a ring for authenticity. This pen uses a cartridge/converter system and is manufactured in a process of over one-hundred steps, largely carried out by hand.
