The pen has a matching cap which has a stainless steel clip on the side embracing a twisted shape with the LAMY brand name next to it for subtle branding purposes. The cap can rest on the end of the pen when writing however it is not securely held in place, when not in use return the cap so the nib doesn't dry up. The grip is smoothly made from the polished stainless steel complementing the rest of the pen. There is a twist mechanism near the cone of the pen which unscrews so you can change the refill.
